Our Nutritional Approach
SLOW-COOKING
At VēRUS, the production of our kibble undergoes a slow-cooking process at lower temperatures. Our slow-cooking preparation retains nutrients and flavors and creates a higher starch conversion, which can lead to increased stamina and energy in pets. The higher the starch conversion, the higher the digestibility of a product. VēRUS aims for a 94% starch conversion rate for our formulas.
Freeze-Dried Live Probiotics
VēRUS Pet Foods is the only pet food company in the world using a freeze-dried live probiotic. Most of our competitors use dead strains that have only about 3%-5% activity. Our probiotic offers a minimum of 93% activity, which is a POWERHOUSE of digestive and immune support.
Enriched With Omega-3 Fatty Acids
VēRUS Pet Foods is different; we optimize our formulas to ensure dogs get the higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids their bodies need to maintain a healthy immune system, reduce inflammation, and prevent or combat dry hair and dull coat.
Chelated Minerals
