It is very important that you store VéRUS All Natural Pet Foods properly if using a plastic container!

Plastic absorbs oil.  Oils from the food can leach into the plastic and become rancid, thereby contaminating the next batch of food.  Oils turn rancid when exposed to heat, light and or air.  The best method is to store VéRUS All Natural Pet Foods in its original bag.

If you just "dump a fresh bag" into your container when needed; the residual oil that settles on the bottom of the container can spoil. The bottom of the last bag is now beyond its shelf life, which is the date stamped on the bag. This spoiled oil may contaminate any fresh food added to the container, causing vomiting or diarrhea when fed to your pet.
