Chicken in VéRUS Puppy Advantage, Life Advantage (Canine) & Life Advantage (Feline) is hormone & antibiotic free chicken raised for human consumption. Quality! What really makes the formula different is the vitamin/mineral premix. It is not minimum levels to meet AAFco requirements. We use higher levels of nutrients in the premix to account for absorption problems some dogs may have.
